Drinking Pink…

Thanks again to the visitors to the Foodie Festival who shifted to the second sangria option to give it a try…our Pink Potion is a nice way to welcome the morning after a late night with friends, family, and celebration as well as an ideal addition to a brunch menu.

3 Parts Shamong Blush

2 Parts Shamong White

1 Part Ginger Ale

*We mixed our two wines thoroughly, in the case of the weekend pitchers, we used 3 to 2 bottles respectively. Once they were well blended, we added our sliced fresh strawberries and about 4 cups of Ginger Ale to top it off. Two healthy helpings of ice and we were good to go!

The Bee’s Needs Recipe

To everyone who visited over the weekend and slipped into the barrel room with an open mind and an empty glass – thank you. We are always looking to find a new innovation and take on wine mixtures, and are overjoyed when they’re delicious and well received – and even more so when they have a socially conscious origin, Save the Bees!

The Bee’s Needs
3 parts Valenzano Vidal Blanc
2 parts Pinelands Blend Honey
1 parts Passionfruit Juice
(I used Welch’s Tropical Trio to save on having to measure quantities of juices)

Chill your Vidal Blanc. For the weekend pitcher we used three bottles, two helpings of ice, and stirred in about 3/4 of a medium sized bottle of honey from the Happy Bees Apiary NJ. Once we have these two elements incorporated we added our juice element. Continue stirring faithfully and keep chilled. Serve, Sip & Savor….and thank the bees
